This race began with a rather dissapointing quallification for us, but, our star driver Sjoerd van Marrewij, was able to make up this dissapointing grit position in a very short time, overtaking 14 drivers at the start already. From here on he overtook 12 other cars within the oncoming 20 laps, positioning himselve 3rd.
Edwin Krachten however, wasn't driving quite as strong however, losing 3 positions at the start, putting him back to an 18 place. But, in the 24th lap, miracle struck, one of the other drivers lost his wits, and turned around on the highspeed oval of Talladega, crashing into the lead drivers with a crushing speed of 200+mph. This caused Edwin Krachten to put his car to the site. Nevertheless, Sjoerd was able to avade this driver gone nuts, by his highly talented invasic manouvres, and took over the lead from T.v.Onselen (leaving from pole), who was eliminated by the anonumous crash driver. S. v. Marrewij was able to expand his lead, and, dominate the race from here on. He won the race with a 18.973 second lead, not a very bad thing at all. So however E. Krachten wasn't able to finish the race, Sjoerd did a very good job, and took full victory.

Next time, we aim at a 1-2 for our team Edwin and Sjoerd racing, so keep an eye on us!
